so if I understand well what's going on:
Shouko-san travelled to the past to save Sakuta-kun from the Christmas Eve accident,
but failed which lead to Mai-san sacrifice to save Shouko,
Shouko-san got married with Sakuta (I guess )...
and now Sakuta-kun want to travel to the past to save Mai-san
which can cause the current "future" to collapse
But, apparently
this is all just a Shouku-san dream...

This is a slightly different Shouko from the one who tried to stop the accident; that one comes from a world where Sakuta died while this one comes from one where he didn't. Every decision Shouko made from the fourth grade on and every ancillary choice made by those impacted by her decisions created a branch timeline. We don't see all of them, but this fact eventually becomes important heading into the university arc.

This is not a “single” time line time travel. It’s parallel worlds time travel. This Shouko belongs to another time line, which exists in parallel to this one.

Don’t think much about it, just enjoy it lmao
