Huh, I guess the classic vampire weakness of running water isn't a thing in this story.
Not sure, various vampire media keep switching up what counts as the running water debuff on vampires.
Some say even a bathtub with a bit of tap water running in it counts, while other stories have vampires freely frolicking in the beach like nothing.
It's been a long time since I have seen a vampire story use the running water debuff in their story seriously, beyond just as a silly joke in comedy vampire stories.
I guess it's understandable, it is a pretty silly weakness.
By the original rules, the lake would in no way affect a vampire. The weakness in lore came from rivers being seen as barriers, and from running water being seen as pure, or more pure than other water. No lakes, ponds, oceans, or seas would be considered running water. Rivers, streams, creeks, and so on would be.
The manga with the bathtub example is taking it egregiously far past reasonable interpretation, while the one with them at the beach is fine as the rule doesn't apply there anyway.
lmao it always amazes me when someone hates something so much that they read 4 full chapters knowing full well this is a BL title, before writing a hate comment and there will
be, without fail, almost 40 peoples liking that comment ππππππ
