The only good work he's made. Fairy tail is shit, but i enjoyed it when i was younger. Any arc involving Lucy (whos the main character) is fucking trash.

@KreamPunk Just because your preferences have changed doesn't FT was shit. In my opinion none of Mashima's work are trash because of how he can connect characters to main story later on. Agreed that the character development might not be as good but it's not trash.

@Tokimedotozu Fairy Tail is definitely not the best manga. You really can't sit here and tell me that Fairy Tail is a GOOD manga. Sure, I can get some people enjoy it. Maybe i'll get back into it myself one day. But it's definitely below average. Eden's Zero, another one of Mahima's works is not the best either. I'm currently still reading it, and I plan to stay with it all the way through. I think it has some aspects that are better then fairy tail, (For ex, No trash MC aka Lucy). I still stand by my opinion that Fairy Tail is shit tho.

@KreamPunk It's not below average at all! How can you so conveniently sit back and say Fairy Tail is trash just because Lucy,the MC, was trash? It had a good overall development of what a shounen story should be. Revolving around MC is what shounen's about. Mashima has done it brilliantly by making characters around Natsu and his friends related to him in some way or other. Also yeah it's average, neither below nor above it.

@Tokimedotozu But you have to admit, there were some pretty bad arcs in Fairy Tail. Also, I feel like you're kind of making a mistake when you make a manga, but have the mc be shit. I understand that everything is supposed to be around Lucy, but imagine if Sakura was the main character of Naruto. Yeah, i know. Gives me nightmares

@KreamPunk Yeah FT did have some pretty bad arcs before time skip and also after that like the celestial spirit one. So let's conclude that FT is average. It neither deserves more nor less.

I stopped reading fairy tail after gmg arc.
My sister completed it though, and told me how the fuck, they literally killed acnologia. Like last chaps were rushed, that dragon didn't even flinched by the attacks of dragon slayer, and erza and mira literally attacked and made him fall into big iced boat.
100 year quest, i don't give a fuck about it.
It's basically like a dating sim manga now, shipping at it's highest peak on it.
Like every 3 or 4 chaps, they show shipping romance.
