Honestly, Marina should've stayed with him, it's disappointing that he grew but she essentially stayed the same.

They're supposed to meet at university when she is 24 years old, for her nothing chaned.

What's confusing is how she got back, there's obviously a person reaching out to her, maybe it's her reality Rinosuke, but he's supposed to be I'll, but given she changed the future he got better and current Rinosuke is in different reality.

Multiverse lol

It's strange because it's not very well explained how this time travel works. The most logical way could be that by going back in time, she created a second timeline where the changes don't affect the future of the first timeline, but that would be meaningless because she would still return to a present where her husband would die and this world would have no connection to the other. I wanted her to satisfy her selfish desires by staying in this second timeline where she could be with her beloved for many years and with a smaller age gap. I know this wouldn't be praiseworthy, but it would be more satisfying, and I don't think there's a need for characters to be perfect, in fact, I like them to be more human, with flaws, etc.
