His fiance got killed by the Insect Hero's giant bug along with his hometown, this is what made him become Revenger and meet Ovaru. Originally Revenger is supposed to be the Hero of Sunlight but his depression & desire for revenge plus Ovaru having power over his psalm(destiny) have slowed him down so he could get stronger, meet his destined party members and participate in the Enemy of the World battle as the Insect Hero will likely have to show up during this event.
