The dungeons becoming his after conquering is the effect of his "Dungeon Plunderer" skill. Normally, like in most rpg-like setting, you just get a bunch of loot (and tp access) after you've cleared it, which you can see is also the way this world works. Though, I am a little confused about the "first-time subjugation bonus"... if that's referring to the entire history of the dungeon or it's counted individually (not that it matters to Rou either way, and he hasn't taken anyone back to a dungeon he's done I think)

Unless it is a deliberate understatement, I think there must have been a translation mistake on page 18:
"There are countless gargantuan monsters measuring several meters long."

Just "several meters" seems like a massive understatement given the art showing dozens of tentacles that are several times longer than those ships.
