And if aporou wasn't the apostle of the greater gods he would have been the saint or hero of the god of harvests and feasts. If I recall they're the second or third ranked green god.
My memory past this point is shakey at best, most of this info comes from chapters 900+ of the webnovel. (We're around... 400? Someone else check.)

To be fair, if I was transported to another world and they didn't have Tex Mex and I was suddenly able to eat Tex Mex foods again, I would be crying with joy too. There's this one burrito shop I used to eat at, just a Mom&Pop that replaced some other store that used to be there. They made their green sauce in-house and sold candied sweet corn... If I could eat from there again, augh...
And now the "obligatory trope" of the Isekai'd Japanese having nostalgia for their food after trying some for the first time in a long time. It's literally in every isekai in some way, shape or form. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

I've gone to Japan, and most of their food is very good. When I came back, i wanted to eat so bad again Japanese curry that i began to search as crazy on my country for some place with food like that
