A person doesn't have to retain their knowledge to be reincarnated, it could just be the same soul without their memories.

interesting philosophical question. If a being has a different physical form, retains no memories/knowledge of their past life, and live their entire life under a different name; are they not a different person? The only thing connecting them is an intangible, unperceivable, essence that incorporates the thing we constitute as "that" individual (a soul?). If we can not detect that essence the only thing we have left to compare is the personality. In which case you could not tell me for certain that that individual is indeed the same and not someone that is just coincidentally similar.

alternate point: Everyone he has ever met in his original world ( people we know he must have met despite not mentioning, like enemies, friends, family, ect.) reincarnated into this fantasy world and they are all ppl he has interacted with. If you still believe in the yandere reincarnation, you have to also accept this as a possibility.

@gaigous im really glad to see not everyone reading this drivel is a hypocrite, tbh I did enjoy the earlier chapters when the dude was actually strugling and it seemed there would be a good story there, but now everything is delivered on a platter to him and he wont suffer any loses until the very end arc where the hero gets a weapon to kill him that invalidates the dudes skills.

Previously , I have posted my reviews of re:monster on kissmanga 's comment section , but kissmanga is a fuking pirate site , and its mods are fuking stupid idiots , 1 of the mod falls in love with rou and re:monster , so it deleted most of my honest reviews , so now I move to this great site mangadex . My review of chapter 46 :

As a great a$$hole (bakayaROU) once said , "Just the usual bull-sh!ttings" :

- Day 114 : glasshole alchemist-b!tch gave birth to a NORMAL human girl ???? Maybe the virgin authors dont know this simple trivia , but a normal baby human stays in the womb for 280 days , not less than 114 days .

- A goblin raped a girl , then the girl gives birth to a human baby instead of a goblin baby ???? Other great stories about goblins dont have that stupid idea .

Goblin A : Hey , this "wife" of us just gave birth to a human baby .
Goblin B : What a waste of our semens . We dont need useless humans , we only need strong goblins for our army . Lets just eat our newborn human children .

- The gods , or whatever a$$holes in this fuked-up isekai , decide a human's job AT BIRTH ???? This is the most nazi thing that I have ever heard .

Wife : Hey , our newborn baby girl got the job slave / $ex slave / sh!t-eater / wh0re / a$$hole-licker / goblin-fuker / beggar .... what should we do ?

- What crimes did the innocent humans commit ? Nothing at all . And who appointed bakayaROU the cockroach to become the police , the judge , the jury and the executioner ?

- A street peddler is selling DIGITAL CAMERAS , in a MEDIEVAL , FANTASY WORLD ????

Because you guys want to fuk the elves , so that means you are not "innocent" people , right ? So it is okay to kill you , right ? Right ? RIGHT ?

I've come to notice that people really, really hate characters that aren't super moral or just. Seems people just want the same kind of heroic characters or at the very least anti-heroes. But the moment something like RE:Monster or Overlord comes around their bais gets the best of them. I personally love these kinds of MCs as I've grown sick of MR Hero stories and well other genre's like slice of life and such are not my tastes.

Instead of shitting all over the story for some stupid reasons, just go read something you enjoy.

- First I believe it's his sense danger skill, as it only triggers and alerts him to those with hostile intentions usually. So he can generally tell when people are plotting something. Again just what I think regardless I don't give a shit if he kills off some innocent background characters. He is a monster after all.

- In a fantasy world like this I believe the strong get to choose to be the police, judge, jury and executioner if they so decide. Try not to infuse to much real world ideals into some fictional fantasy story just so you have something to bitch about.

- Again he's a monster, I don't think showing off your powers and slaughtering those weaker then you makes you a bad parent when your kids are basically monsters too. Again you can't call them innocent either unless you know what they were thinking. So that point is moot.

- Magic item and he mention that it copies what you see through it to a paper inside. Meaning it's not at all digital and again why can't a fantasy world like this not have a magic item that can paint the scene your looking at onto paper for you? (Also don't see how it's a street peddler when you walk into said persons shop.)

- They never mentioned anything about putting up signs or trying to rent the elves bodies out. They just said they used them as bait, she could of just had them standing out in the open to lure a group of bandits in to try and attack and capture the elves. Then proceeded to take them out. We don't know what she did as it's left vague so again you can't act like they did something wrong without proof.

In the end you're just nitpicking cause of your own bias towards these types of characters or stories. But thanks for the laughs. I could of went on about the other comment too, but I stopped caring enough. Look foward to see more hate the next chapter. <3

@boag That looks nothing like him though, and honestly if that does happen I'd be pretty annoyed. I don't want awesome characters like this made out to be evil and defeated by some shitty "Hero". Thats in 90% of other generic fantasy stories.

Edit: I just noticed the story where that image is from, I though I noticed Fran's name, but that's the story of the isekai where the guy gets reincarnated as a sword. Lol, so I'm pretty sure you're just full of shit. Maybe you're hoping he dies in the end but I doubt he would or if he does it would be shown as a sad moment in the story and not a joyful one.)
