In short, I'd like a feature that somehow communicates to the user that a specific manga is already in the users library before they click on it. I've found myself racking up quite a few manga in my library, to the extent where I begin to forget manga I've already read or not recognize them when browsing for new ones to read on the advanced search page.

Implementation of this seems fairly simple, this could be as easy as a tick in the row that contains the rating, comment count, etc. It's a basic quality of life improvement, nothing drastic, not a HUGE time saver, but something that is beneficial and helpful over the long-run.

Thank you!

I'd argue this is slightly different and more streamlined than what was suggested. Same idea, different outcome.
While the UX is different the suggestion itself is nearly the same, a need to see if it’s in one’s library in the search. The dev do respond about that in that thread for you to read.
So I’ll quote Teasday’s response about it.
If this is about adding some way to see right there in the manga listing item if it has been added to at least one library list, that'd definitely be nice information to be able to easily verify. We did have something similar in v3, after all, so even just for parity purposes we should be looking into it, although admittedly it's unfortunately not going to be as simple to solve as back then due to the technical tradeoffs in how the site works now.
