So feel like this is ramping up towards the conclusion, I just hope our girl wins (though I’d be genuinely shocked, I have some anxiety about a harem/ambiguous ending)

This is indeed the last arc, or at least the last I know(the manga end chapter 142), and about the end, I didn't pass google lens on it, so is only based on images, but...

MC and main girl get married, they also get laid before the ending, but I don't know everything, I just looked up till the conclusion of this suspension thing and the end, so maybe there are some stuff in between

I know this series has always been pretty trash but this latest development really takes the garbage cake. The fact that they "would be expelled" if they actually did have sex, in their own home, in private, is ridiculous enough as it is. I know this is Japan and we need "drama" but this whole forced arc is making me want to drop this even if we have a bit over twenty chapters left.

Bro, I’m naming my first born after you. Poor kid will be bullied their entire life but I’ll know they carry the name of a true hero.

Exactly my thought. I really want to say that I enjoy reading this, but from the moment the old "friends" appeared, the writing went to shit.
I don't know about japanese laws (obviously underage drinking it's illegal when in public, like for the rest of the world, but I don't think so much in the privacy of one's own house) or school rules, but it's fucking stupid that they got suspended for drinking and possibly copulate. Especially when the one who found them was MC's cousin. That was so dumb, my brain blood vessels almost popped.
The whole thing is so incredibly stupid that it actually hurts.

So feel like this is ramping up towards the conclusion, I just hope our girl wins (though I’d be genuinely shocked, I have some anxiety about a harem/ambiguous ending)
IIRC a spoiler in a previous chapter comment section
it's basically the guy and girl from school fest that were publicly exposed and shamed for being liars, aka MC's old "friends", that gave Yuuki the alcohol and snitched to the teacher (MC's cousin).
What should happens from here to the end is that they'll have to expose them once again and redeem themselves
As you can see, this arc is very stupid (to not use bannable words). It actually dropped the rating of the manga for me.

I don't remember their school being some super ritzy disciplinarian school that would suspend you for two weeks for doing some dumb typical teenager things, or why they would be expected to have no contact with their classmates or simulate house arrest during said suspension. Japan must be crazy if the audience over there just says "This sounds like a perfectly reasonable response."
Also, I can't think of any scenario where being suspended under such circumstances for two weeks doesn't completely cripple a student's social life thanks to their absence fueling the rumor mill. Given how much Japan obsesses over "fitting in," I'd think forcing even "problem" students to become outcasts would be something the administration would try to avoid.

Similar to the work place, I wouldn’t be shocked if there are rules against students dating cause school is all about “education” before human connection… so young sex would reflect the school being immoral (in many people’s eyes) similar to underage drinking, smoking, and gang violence. Maybe that’s what the author was going for but this manga doesn’t deserve the benefit of the dou- oh look at that Mami randomly showed up when Chizuru and Kazuya are hanging out.

In the early chapters, there were like 3 fucking gangs at that school.
thanks, it was even worse than I remembered.

I wonder if Japan has schools that specifically take in students with behavioral problems like we do here in the States? That's the only way I can even partially reconcile this sort of extreme disciplinarian action, but that wouldn't make sense because they wouldn't have been as limp-wristed as they were about some of the stuff previously if my memory of events serves me.

Being a novel adaption, I guess it comes down to:

Young (teenage maybe?) writer of the plot. The whole 'unused goods' thing, being a porn game nerd and femals throwing themselfs at MC left and right - but we can't touch any of them 'cause it wouldn't be appropriate. The drama is kinda forced/flat - using tropes from other works in forcefull ways doesn't helhp at that.

All of that points to, as I assume, an immature writer of the base material.

It's their final year and they could just stroll into the 18+ section of a game store, so I take it they're 18 or above. In this case, the issue wouldn't be the nudity or the sex (since they're above the age of consent), it's probably the drinking, which can easily devolve into other sexual accusations. While the girls themselves definitely don't seem like they wish to press charges, I don't know if their parents still have such power or if those were relinquished after they've passed the legal marriageable age. Worst case, their parents could still sue Seiichi for rape, I guess, although I don't know if Japan prosecutes intoxication as indicative of lack of consent. Maybe alienating him for a moment under the guise of an investigation was meant to help mitigate this kind of disaster.

That said, the legal drinking age in Japan is 21, so there's definitely a line being crossed there if they were found by the investigation to truly be drinking alcohol, because the signs of intoxication were most definitely there, and Sensei smelled alcohol as well.

I think this only devolved to become a problem because Sensei was a stickler for rules. Which, in its own way, is good, I guess; I know the reality is that even youngsters drink alcohol, but if possible, I'd really rather they only pick that up after they're of legal drinking age, and Japan is pretty strict about this kind of discipline.
