I have now read all the 179 chapters currently here as of this post. I really got sucked into this one. The chapters are short, and I guess for some that's a bad thing, but in this instance I don't think so. They are focused, and we rarely get cliffhangers. They don't waste time, and the pacing is incredible. The start is a bit awkward as the MC is reincarnated into a different person and I think that it could have been handled a bit better, but it quickly settles into a comfortable pace.
This is a very drama focused piece, and all of it feels natural. All the characters have their own goals and desires. The MC very much drives the plot forward, and he's intelligent both socially and business-wise. He uses knowledge he learned about the history of the fashion industry very effectively, and he also has the skills to match up. His biggest set backs are mostly social and the fact that pre-reincarnation the body he possesses belongs to an absolute scumbag abuser. He really puts in all of his effort to succeed, and honestly it's inspiring.
I actually have a hard time pointing out flaws honestly. Overall, the storytelling in this is fantastic, and I feel it deserves a better rating than what it currently has. I hesitate to give this a 10/10 because this doesn't have that gravity that a true masterpiece has, so I rate this a 9/10 because it does so well. There are so many garbage Chinese works out there, but it's excellent pieces like this that make me continue to sigh and say, "Alright, let's give this a try."
