I hate the short chapters. For people who want to calculate how long this book is, divide the number by half and that's roughly the actual length

I have now read all the 179 chapters currently here as of this post. I really got sucked into this one. The chapters are short, and I guess for some that's a bad thing, but in this instance I don't think so. They are focused, and we rarely get cliffhangers. They don't waste time, and the pacing is incredible. The start is a bit awkward as the MC is reincarnated into a different person and I think that it could have been handled a bit better, but it quickly settles into a comfortable pace.

This is a very drama focused piece, and all of it feels natural. All the characters have their own goals and desires. The MC very much drives the plot forward, and he's intelligent both socially and business-wise. He uses knowledge he learned about the history of the fashion industry very effectively, and he also has the skills to match up. His biggest set backs are mostly social and the fact that pre-reincarnation the body he possesses belongs to an absolute scumbag abuser. He really puts in all of his effort to succeed, and honestly it's inspiring.

I actually have a hard time pointing out flaws honestly. Overall, the storytelling in this is fantastic, and I feel it deserves a better rating than what it currently has. I hesitate to give this a 10/10 because this doesn't have that gravity that a true masterpiece has, so I rate this a 9/10 because it does so well. There are so many garbage Chinese works out there, but it's excellent pieces like this that make me continue to sigh and say, "Alright, let's give this a try."

Yeah, I definitely agree, manhua like these are why I give them a chance. Also if there was even 1 hint of women collection then I'd have given up by the 3rd or 4th chapter. I ended up binging all the 200 chapters available right now due to how much better this is from the cookie cutter manhuas out there.

I do feel like the story could have been more fleshed out, it felt like there wasn't enough being conveyed at times and the art is while not bad, it's nothing great as well. Due to that I gave it a 8/10. Actually the rating would have been lower but due to the manhua matching my personal preferences it's automatically higher

The cover pic, the title ''Rebirth'' and mainly the art of the Girl
is what made me try this out

I did finish all 322 chapters, It is very Chinese, I guess that should be obvious as it is from China. I guess people's mindset there reflects on the story-telling

Honestly, I don't like the MC at all, he is pretty much human trash as well. People will argue he is just being a businessman in the cruel world of 1983. The whole shit with ''MO company & their Fashion Girls'' was excess. Made me lose most of my interest, now you can argue this is what happens in the real world, competition is hard. They show MC has some moral dilemma for his actions, but it is just that, he goes above and beyond to fuck with "Mo Company" when he is the one who started it all.

It feels childish & scummy instead of feeling 'clever'.

Oh well will give it a 6 or 7/10 since it was decent enough that I finished it
