I don't know, I find it quite refreshing for this manhua. There's finally consequences to 200+ chapters of him being a rampaging arsehole that murders everyone. Sure he's going to solve everything with more casual murder but at least he's looking beyond his own cultivation now.

@Savok I get what you mean lol, he's lucky things only happened to this level while he was away. As many enemies as he made, it could have been a far worse situation he came back to, and he seems to realize it at least. Still, it's funny how he solves the problem created by indiscriminate killing, with more indiscriminate killing.
