I'm sure I already seen/read this exact sceen in another story... Pretty sure it was in Rebirth Of The Urban Immortal Cultivator, before he left the 1st city (Auction, and scram organised by a tycoon from another city, just like this...)

Damn. Guy's such a pro scammer. Doesn't even sell just good looking trinkets/antiques as 'magical artifacts'. He just finds random junk AND casts low level illusion spell to make it look shiny.

I thought stuff was trash just cause it was fancy regular stuff but it was actual trash.
