Dr. Li is likely to misdiagnose or be unable to help the kid to give MC a chance to shine. As for the cause, the kid OD'd on Viagra and overstimulated himself. That or he contracted a rare illness, ate something he shouldn't have, or had a condition that just worsened for some reason. Dr. Li seems to have a good head on his shoulders so likely to give MC a chance if explains quickly while the mob workers will feel Li being insulted by MC and trash talk him.
