Manga adapts the Light Novels. The writer abandoned further Web Novel updates because things diverge so much. Frankly, there is a significant leap in quality for the Light Novels, totally worth buying them. It merges different adventures together.

Personally don't like where the WN goes with the divergence. Hoping the manga continues to follow the LN, or even adapts it's own path in certain ways.

To give an example of the differences:

When Akira first meets Elena and Sara, they're being robbed by hunters:

• In the Web Novel, Akira makes some of those hunters strip their gear off and then executes them, because that is what they did to Sera earlier.
• In the Light Novel, those hunters are all killed cleanly.

But I also think the web novel has some inconsistency. Akira's relationship becomes strained with Elena and Sera over them taking Katsuya's side in an argument... but he still acts considerably trusting and happy with them.

She notices Katsuya looking at the hologram made by the AI. Same situation as when she notices Akira looking at Alpha. Not to sure the latter was depicted well in the manga, but she did mention Akira's strange behaviour.

Sheryl's very observant and sometimes think too much. I think it might be a good idea to get etiquette courses. At east it'll give her piece of mind when hanging around that area.

Sheryl should have gone the opposite route and told Katsuya, yes, it is entirely your fault. All of the deaths are because you think yourself as right yet you make every bad decision to risk their life to make yourself seem more powerful or important.

By telling Katsuya to forget them means that Katsuya must and will ignore their deaths. Sheryl actually fired a bullet to Katsuya point blank!

Diplomat, indeed.
