Favourite character out of everything I've read?
Amane Suou from Grisaia (uncensored VN and manga - censored VN and anime suck). Hard-ass broad, who likes muscle cars and messing with cops, yet cooks better than most chefs and is absolutely devoted to her man? Where do I sign up?

She's not the best written character I've read though. That'd be the son of the eight-legged crows swordswoman (who constantly claims that the MC's enemies are in the right - not sure if he even has a name) from Iron Ladies. That character seems like he's taken straight from reality - the leftists at my university would have certainly gotten along with him.
