I have a sneaking suspicion there's some kind of hidden plot about using enhanced pheromones to influence behavior underneath all this. Suggested by the way people (like MC Inuta and the tough guy gym coach) sometimes get suddenly raged out by lust, with their veins popping and eyeballs black. Also by the art teacher's alluringly "sweet smell" and now Uchura's power to sway a crowd. If so, it might tie into the real reason the sex prohibitions were enacted.

Dunno, maybe not. Long shot theory, but it's been in the back of my mind for a while. Would help explain why everybody acts all bonkers all the time.
