Aoba genuinely wishing Musuke well for his youcube career as a fan of his videos but it comes across as trolling.....his reason for fighting Kenshin being too complicated to explain so he just gives the bare minimum details and confuses everyone....my socially awkward king!! I love him

its cool seeing Kenshin acknowledge Aoba too! but the comment "even if it was just a youcuber" was totally unnecessary. Musuke is a youcuber but his strength is the real deal. Kenshin doesn't mean any harm but its another example of him subconsciously looking down on others. Its the pitfall of a genius and the exact thing Aoba dislikes about him

Agreed, its another example of him never really thinking about the implications of his statements. His Karate Sempai is literally a Streamer and standing right there. The fact he STILL calls Aoba's tactic against the same guy "dirty" 2 years later while ignoring the fact his sempai CHOSE to compete in a COMBAT sport with that handicap also highlights just how childish he can be. I honestly wouldn't shocked if his mentality is part of the reason the champ gave him that scar.

Ik Aoba might seem childish for holding a grudge against Kenshin, but he really is aggravating. "High and mighty" is the perfect term. He loves to look down on others and discredits Aoba's win against Hadzuru to this day, even when Hadzuru has no problem with it.

Gosh I love that this manga gives us the chance to root for someone who'd be the antagonist in any other story

A possible reason he also didn't say more is because he's not trying to play a heel and public perception around kenshin's defeat would be exacerbated if he wasn't seen as a villain rival but just an "opponent that won." It would annoy kenshin even more because no one outside the ring would understand this guy has been gunning for him day 1.
