It's always hilarious seeing the contrast between Aoba and Iwase since Aoba gets told all the time he'll definitely lose the match he's going in when he's facing a tougher opponent, and he doesn't care, while Iwase actually thinks some of his opponents are too much for him, and just needs to be told he can actually do it to do his best.
I wonder if getting a few punches in and realising he can keep his opponent at bay and keep punching him and use footwork to dodge him will boost his confidence further and lead to him getting into the flow of the fight. I mean, that jab got through pretty easily, but a kick to the head can pretty much end the fight, and that's all he needs to manage.

That Komoro guy has great wrestling and grappling skills, as far as those abilities go he's well polished, but as far as everything outside of that goes he's not well seasoned. His natural raw strength gives him a talent for striking but his form is novice at best.

Iwase best strength was his striking skill, his best bet would be to not let Komoro take him to the ground and not let him land to many blows.

As an actual MMA student and soon to be amateur fighter, Iwase is very relatable. The mental battle is so real, and getting support from your closest allies is such a performance booster
