I wonder if the author draws inspiration from Jesus or Lucifer. anyway, personally I don't think this is an asspull, seeing that the first (or was it second?) chapter was literally Noya's descent. at that point author should have already at least had an outline about what's the reason for him to be sent to this dimension, by whose power, etc. he's almost godly, so the being that can teleport him must be someone even beyond him, so a god. of course, it seems kinda lazy to borrow from christian story, but eh, it is what it is.
