You know, I like this guard. At least he’s not a mindless dog, he just has no choice but to follow considering his status and that a prince is giving him an order. He clearly does not enjoy what he is being forced to do, and yet must still do it as a loyal knight to the kingdom. Man even wants to retire due to the dogshit things he is being forced to do.
