On one hand, this is adorable af. Gonna be a lot of fun just reading her life.

On another hand, I'm never sure if they're gonna progress their relationship anytime soon... One of those manga where the two just keep building upon misunderstanding after misunderstanding, with the prince never being able to communicate their feelings... Hope I'm wrong.

There will be progress in time I think. I am not completely sure ofc, but in 3.1, we will learn a very interesting info about the harem. I will try to handle 3.1 ASAP

For now, yes I guess :kek: I also don't know yet but probably the Emperor will be more likeable in the future
He will obviously be given redemption arcs, but we already know he is not whatever kind of good person he will be portrayed like in the future.

As I said above, we will learn something new about Emperor Glendil's harem's system in 3.1 and that probably will change your opinion of him pretty much. At least it changed mine!

Emperor being the baby dragon was probably a bit too expected, but it's not like anything is inherently ruined from guessing it ahead of time.

close enough, welcome back Ryoga Hibiki

Even though this is shoujo, the art style is very shounen... Not sure how i feel about that but the story is pretty interesting

Nah, nobody in this series is likeable except the maid and MC.

I would like to remind y'all, months past when y'all typedthis, that literally in chapter one,the conflict between the two started with a misunderstanding.

His only personality traits established until now were embarresment and soul melting due to motherly love.

He was trying to brush off his friend to avoid getting teased, she overheard, misunderstood, and insisted on living on her lonesome, with him realising just how much of a screw up that was,as per the earlier bits of chapter two, with the disgusted look on her face.

Had they'd just made the Goddamn door out of thick metal, seeing as how common it was, she'd probbably would've walked, they'd talk, and things would be much smoother.

Good thing that didn't happen, because then we wouldn't see her kick arse and takin' names.

"misunderstanding"

My man, no, he literally said what she said, with the intention with which she interpreted it. The only "misunderstanding" is that she was not meant to hear it. It would still have been an asshole move even if she never overheard it at all.

He is irredeemable scum.

And you clearly do not remember the lead up to that.
"Knowing him,if I easily acknowledge it and say "Ah,that's right",then..."

"He'll definitely spread rumours like "The Emperor is into young girls!" sigh...!
Like a kid/office worker/bro at a bar,he is purely dismissing it to get his buddy off his case, with the third party overhearing and creating the massive misunderstanding being a common as Hell trope.

Followed by the just as often trope of them realising the third party is there, having heard everything, and breaking into a cold sweat.

5000+ Mangadex messages and you're this naive about common tropes in media?,this naive about inexperienced males trying to establish peace of mind against the buddies in the usual banter?

You need to plant your face in the grass if you think that makes him "irredeemable".

This is not something that simple or "pure". Let's ignore for a moment the worst part, where he was saying demeaning stuff about his fiancé-equivalent (at all) directly after forcing said "child" to separate from her family and enter his harem (without even bothering to tell her that in person), we still have the part where he is feeling embarrassed about his mate-to-be to begin with instead of defending her. So it is bad on all possible levels! And then you combine both of those.
Followed by the just as often trope of them realising the third party is there, having heard everything, and breaking into a cold sweat.
Like I said, that part is not even relevant to what makes him irredeemable. That's just what happened after, and he would still be even if she hadn't overheard.Though yes, he should have immediately apologized, too.

No idea why my post-count matters here. You do realize that the number of posts does not imply anything about someone? You are not a fifth the man I am just because you have a fifth of the post-count.

As for my knowledge of the tropes - you were literally replying to my initial comment where I did explicitly say that I know the author will try to redeem the guy. Because that's the trope.

And he is not a p12 where people still associate women with "cooties", he has no excuse for responding that way in regards to an official relationship where he (and his racial instincts) is the driving factor (and her side lacks any right to refuse or complain), and any negative remarks from him is directly harmful to her reputation and overall standing. He is a head of a state. He knows (or at least should know) to watch his words, even in "private" (and this was not truly in 'private' either, as that guy actually works for him and it was office-hours).
