How did she come to that conclusion? Both humans (Lemilia) and ajin (Fire dude) have the power so... What even??

@pokefairy It's because the Time's Arcana is passed down (presumably) through the humans of the clan that Nakaba's father belonged to and mother married into. Remember, the only way that Nakaba could have it is if the Arcana was not primarily passed through Ajins (If it was passed though Ajins, we'd have a very different story to read!). Leo (or as you called him "Fire dude") probably got his by chance (supposedly) like Lemilia, as the village he lived in had a pretty wide variety of Ajin species in it, so there were no clear bloodlines per se. Otherwise he emigrated to that village after something happened with his clan where the Arcana was passed down and he had to disappear, but that's not going to be answered any time soon.


Edit: Also, where in the heck did Ceasar get that modern mountain climbing gear he was gonna chase Nakaba in on page 40? 🤣

Edit 2: My whole thing about the passing of the traits through humans seems to have been blow out of the water by the ending twists. I know the phrasing of this is vague, but I'm still marking it as spoiler because I trust the people who read this to be smart enough to piece it together.
