From a world building perspective, it makes no sense. Kids spend years in school (some with a "long tradition", no less) to learn how to bash monsters. If this is the curriculum, who the hell runs their seemingly modern civilization then? It's a bit messy, but not bad as an opening chapter
Well, here's the kicker. Why the hell is Bash level 5 a Swordsmanship skill after 3 years of school? Would expect Slash if it's taught correctly, not the blunt weapon staple Bash (or shield derivative Shield Bash). He has the sword proficiency skill.. but uses a club? not a sword?
Dafuq he was trying to sculpt a statue by using a mace? What madness is this!
potentially using something he wasn't proficient in risks injuring himself, which he possibly needed for learning heal?He has the sword proficiency skill.. but uses a club? not a sword?
If you've read the WN, mind sharing your verdict? Thanks for the chapter
So this is another adaptation, the WN started back in 2019, is completed with 274 chapters / 7 Arcs and this had a different title as a WN, it got changed when its sole LN volume was published in 2020, so the manga adaptation used that one instead of the original one, there is no translation for either that i could find
Raw WN
It might just be a skill for overall physical combat, so who knows? He has the sword proficiency skill.. but uses a club? not a sword?
So he gave up on becoming the fisting king again?
based on what I read on the web novel, it seems he need to train on other weapons first to get and level up the skills related to that weapon. Like the "bash" he learned from the club weapon, he was able to use the same skill using a sword. So he gave up on becoming the fisting king again?
