@Serkket and how exactly do they make a tide (something intrinsically tied to moons. The waterlevel merely rising or receding is not enough to warrant being called a tide) locally happen more often than other places? I can accept (really?) that they speed up the moon somehow, such that a calendar-month suddenly has two lunar cycles, but makes no sense that it would only be regionally.
