But damn, that's no warfare, that's pure slaughter. Well, that's how modern war is. War Drones carrying ICBMs, Huge C-130 ground-attack gunships, Apache attack helicopters, Fighter jets and any form of air support; you'll never know what hits you and the one manning those aircrafts will never know who they killed. It's a great example of how modern warfare works.

is a bunker made out on nothing but loose dirt a good idea? pretty sure just the force of the canons will make it collapse. what was even the point of the bunkers to begin with? the enemy was hundreds of meters away, not even at the river fork. i hope Timothy actually turns out to be smart and this was just a diversion army while his real army marched on land or something because this was just underwhelming.

You're forgetting they have one of Tilly's witches that can mold dirt and mud into solid walls capable of forming two story houses as you saw in past images of the Fjord stronghold. So it's no problem for creating eight cannon-emplacement bunkers on each side of the river for a total of 16 hidden bunkers. Each bunker is basically a pillbox with a small opening for the cannon. I was expecting those careless overconfident dorks to parade around the opening again and have a spear or arrow poke them as in that long ago chapter.
