1. Only you would be dumb enough not to replace loyal guards with bribed men in the same original group and instead pick random people off who knows where that nobody working there has ever seen before.
Also are you seriously trying to argue that a prince who has to learn how to run a country and deal with nobles is more focused on combat than guards who specialize in it? Do you think he brings a dumbell in to his etiquette classes and pumps iron while learning about cutlery? Jesus christ man use your head for once

2. It's never 'waaaay up', go reread it. Also, it doesn't matter which part of a swing it is, it won't change momentum? Did you fail your high school physics class? I'm pretty sure even a 10 year old would know intuitively that it sure as hell does change momentum. Here's a refresher: p=mv.

3. So because you have not been shown new tech, you just assume that what would reasonably be considered the worst tech in the kingdom would be standard throughout it. Are you retarded sir? Also you don't need to explain sailing, I know you know Jack shit about it like everything else. Black powder wasn't invented by him, they literally called it snow powder before seeing its power, that means there's a similar product in a different mixture than what could be weaponized

4. Go reread ch 23 you amnesiac idiot. You don't even remember what has happened and you're lecturing me on if I'm qualified to talk about this? Lmao dude take your own advice. Long story short, you're blatantly wrong and it's already revealed there are nobles who use witches, but feel free to keep digging that hole.

5. It wasn't new... Idiot. It challenged the church's theories of medicine at the time and was thus an eyesore. Go look up history of medicine on Wikipedia and read through that so you know how wrong you are.
Also blatantly obvious signs: every year during winter they suffer a huge amount of pain. Did you forget this detail? And you're basing the hunts for superhumans on our reality of hunting social outcasts? The hell are you high on?

6. I'm sorry, you think a compound that prevents someone from talking would be classified as medicine and not poison? Do you think something to numb a person's tongue would be some amazing high-tech drug or something? What do you think they're curing by stopping a person from talking? Do you yourself even remember what the poison you were complaining of was about? Like I know it must be hard for you to keep track of more than 3 things at once, what with one of those always being taken by you needing to remember to breathe and all, but please at least go over what you were talking about before you decide to post something. That way maybe you'll save the effort of typing and instead use those last 2 brain cells to regulate your sphincter to not spew shit everywhere.

@kevin282819 Okay you are just a blantant idiot if the things you just said are really what you think.

1: Are you so god damn moronic that you think this guy is like the other princes? They already established they are different. Also to note, NOBLES LEARN COMBAT. It's a thing. You can't have a general leading an army if he doesn't know how to fight better than other people. He has access to resources others do not. And it is well established he is the martial minded one of the royalty. Where the ACTUAL FUCK are you getting him being a dainty prince from? Was it the probably 500 pound sword he carries on his back? What the fuck dude.

2: Next, it IS way by his head. He is striking DOWN. Do you not know how a downward strike works? Seriously? Unless the author is a moron and would say he was pushing forward with his sword, and who the fuck does that, he would have to have been bringing the sword down for the clash to end up like it did. And by not change momentum i meant that with a sword that large it's already going to destroy damn near anything in it's path, so regardless of where in the strike it was it doesn't matter as the force applied is already sufficient to show there is no way those two guys could just block that with spears. The only way that would be possible is if the entire spear from shaft to tip was solid iron, which would make it damn near unusable due to the weight of it, again in reality "which goes to my original point of it being a leap in logic".

3: YES. We have seen OTHER areas already. We have seen the fort, we have seen a little of a port town, a tiny bit of the main kingdom as well. NOTHING indicates they are that much further in advancment. With no EVIDENCE, you must assume it is of the level we KNOW of. As for sailing, good way to dodge the question bud. Did you know that tribes would travel from island to island long before we had large ocean traveling vessels? Did you also know they did not have any kind of advancement in medicine aside from herbs and other basic compounds? So yes, prowess and advancement in sailing is by no means an indicator of any other technological level. And yes, he did invent black powder. In the chapter where he shows them a bomb they never say "snow powder", they said powder. Or are you talking about nitre? Because that is NOT gunpowder, it is an item used in it's production.

4: As for chapter 23. I assume you are speaking of when she says she was employed, THEN became a witch, and was only left alive due to her use? Because that is no indication witches are not killed on sight. IN FACT that very same chapter she says if they knew she was going to become a witch they would not even let her through the gates alive. Your own source betrays you.

5: No, in our history, back when the witch burnings were happening, just about any kind of medicine NOT practiced directly by the church, was deemed to be gaining knowledge from the devil or to be demonic in some fashion. Just because wiki tells you something doesn't make it true. There is a REASON it is not used as a factual source by any real institutions or schools. Did YOU Forget that the pain they feel usually KILLS them? Not really a good indicator of being a witch if they are DEAD. Also THIS ENTIRE THING IS BASED ON OUR REALITY. Witches were a real thing people thought existed. They THOUGHT they had healing powers given to them by the devil, and looky here we have one in the story that heals. THIS is why medicine was seen as evil a lot, because it used things people did not understand, therefore it's witchcraft. So it would be reasonable to assume the same here. So far the story is shaping up to be just like old europe back during the witch burnings, that is what the entire story is taking as reference.

6: I never said the drug in this comic was medicine. You are very obviously arguing a straw man there. At no point in my post did i ever say that. What i DID say however is that in an age like that, poisons were not complex. They were very simple, but very effective. Normally it would be a combination of poisonous plants mixed into either a powder, paste, or refined into a liquid in later years when that knowledge was known. Poisons themselves are NOT drugs. They are their own thing. Drugs are a blanket term for things that change the chemistry in your body. They can be medicine, they can be narcotics, they can do a lot of different things. But poisons themselves are NOT drugs. They are poisons. You can make drugs WITH poisons, and make something non-harmful, like an antidote for said poison, this is why when bitten by a snake you usually need to know which snake, because that snakes venom is taken and turned into antibodies and that is then made into the cure. As for the drug in question, it is a "no speech" drug. This could mean many things, but in all likely hood it would be something that leaves him coherent but unable to speak, as to not draw attention to it. So it probably would not be something as simple as a numbing agent as you would still be capable of making sounds with that.

All in all you either blatantly mirepresent what i said, argue a strawman, site facts that when gone back to actually say the OPPOSITE of what you claim, or are just plain wrong.

1. Lmao are you still this retarded, you've established jack shit. You don't know anything about him, but please, continue to impose your deluded fantasy onto the rest of the readers while we're sitting in reality. If a prince doesn't learn anything about controlling nobles, managing his realm, or diplomacy with other countries, he'd make a very shit king.
Yeah, nobles learn about combat, duels were fairly popular and all. The particularly militaristic ones may even learn strategy and formations to LEAD an army, none of this translates to fighting as a fucking grunt on the front lines you retard.
Did you weigh his sword? How do you know it's 500 pounds? Or you just pulling this out of your ass again?

2.
but we very clearly see in one panel he rushes with it at his side, then the next it's waaaayy up at his head being swung down
Go reread the chapter you delusional idiot. Stop inserting your random fantasies into it and look at reality. There's literally 3 frames, one it's at his side, next it's a shot of Timothy, the last one when it's already blocked. At no point does it go above his head. Since the sword is "500 pounds", he obviously couldn't even lift the fucking thing over his head and just swung it with whatever position he could, duhh. It just ended up in between two spears, and could have entered there in any number of angles, including from just by his side.
Look, you obviously know jack shit about physics, so stop trying to argue about it. You don't know anything about the scene, you don't know how strong the spears were, how heavy the sword is, how fast it was going, or even what materials they're made of, nor do you know how capable the guards were. Stopping a hit near the beginning of a swing is easy as all hell, which is totally possible from the scene. If you want to talk leaps in logic, take a look at your own assumptions.

3. No, you don't assume that unless you're incapable of extrapolation or critical thinking. You already KNOW the town is the technology FLOOR of the kingdom, and yet here you are assuming it's the CEILING. When you don't have enough information, you assume you don't know anything, but that's obviously not how you work, is it? You who believes yourself to have a grasp of high school physics and history of medicine.
Dodge the question about sailing? Was there a question? You simply stated that "Oh, I know allll about this, but I can't really say anything about it because I just can't be bothered to, but I toootally know about it". Now, you begin your asinine statement of... let's see if I can paraphrase this accurately: "did you know before people could sail across oceans, they sailed across channels?" ... Yeah dude, I knew that. Glad you could grace us all with your profound knowledge of the history of sailing.
Now sailing as not an indicator of tech level..... you realize, sailing isn't about just making a ship and sitting in it, right? While I may not be an expert on sailing, but some fairly obvious requirement technologies would be: food preservation, navigation and astronomy, geography/map making. Probably plenty more such as proper wood working techniques and what not but as I'm not an expert on the subject I'll leave you with that.
These technological examples were primarily a spoiler to tell you what the rest of the kingdom had, and what tech level they actually were, since you were complaining about lack of information. Therefore, these were taken from the novel. And no, I'm not talking about nitre, I'm talking about gun powder. Gun powder was too weak to be used properly, and therefore limited to use in novelties, which is what the rest of the kingdom was using them for. Only after a while during the war do they discover that the mixing ratios can be altered to create more powerful explosions for use in weaponry. They did this completely independently of Roland.

4.
and was only left alive due to her use?
that is no indication witches are not killed on sight
I'm going to leave two quotes from you made in two consecutive sentences for you to reflect on your own stupidity.

5.
Just because wiki tells you something doesn't make it true
Wikipedia may not be perfect, but I'm supposed to believe the source that is your ass over it? The reason Wikipedia isn't used in schools is because it is too easy, and not in depth enough. For a surface overview of subjects, it is completely acceptable.
The pain usually doesn't kill them until they hit 18, otherwise they survive it just fine.
Not really a good indicator of being a witch if they are DEAD.
What? I like how I can just use your own words now to show how stupid you are. A dead witch from the bite is a pretty good indicator of her being a witch.
THIS ENTIRE THING IS BASED ON OUR REALITY
...... Riiiiiight, did you forget your meds? We don't have people that can turn invisible at will in our reality, nor spawn fire from nothing.
They THOUGHT they had healing powers given to them by the devil
No they didn't you fucking idiot, witches were historically characterized as malicious beings who would curse people, cause poor harvests, and were immune to various things that would kill mortals such as drowning.
So it would be reasonable to assume the same here
No, it would not. This is like the single largest difference between this story and our reality.

6. Why the hell are you bringing up drugs then? Just to make a strawman? My examples were focused around poisons because that's what is relevant, then you attack it saying poisons weren't drugs. Glad to see you realized how stupid you sounded. Drop everything that has to do with drugs because it isn't related then, I don't know why you're still bringing it up. Are you this desperate to have at least one thing you can say back that isn't completely retarded? Christ I felt like I was reading an 8th grade essay with a word count minimum reading this point of yours.
But hey, you've accepted that a poison to remove the ability of speech isn't a "huge leap of logic", so good on you, you're learning something.

If that's what you think then you are just as silly as the other person.

You kids need to actually pay attention in school, maybe then you would know basic math like how heavy a chunk of iron like that sword would be or something. Jesus i honestly forgot about this, but holy crap that guy was dumb. Like how can you not know a good ballpark on weight for something that size? I mean an anvil around the size of a trailer tire is about 400-500 pounds of iron, and a sword the size of a human in length and as thick and wide as it seemed to be would be so heavy it would probably rip your damn arms out of their sockets just trying to lift it by hand. Forget blocking it, something that heavy coming towards even three people would probably kill one of them just with the force of it's weight coming down.

I hope the manhua rakes in enough to pay for a larger team that can make high enough quality art to do the original novel justice... of course, that won't happen even if they do rake in more.
