Why does the MC becomes such a pussy all of a sudden ? He used to be super level headed while understanding that this was only temporary, it feels like the closer he is to the end the more annoying he is for nothing. Just take a picture with all of them it's not that hard, yes they'll forget sure okay, taking one fucking picture isn't going to ruin anyone's day.

Same for the Ohga thing, just hang out with him like 30min, sure you'll miss him but you've already spent 6 months with him and he's your friend, nothing's gonna change that so why not just have a good time ?

Or post them online... or all of the adults who see them in passing, maybe store clerks and whatnot. Considering the whole school and all of those people. They'd have to erase the memories of thousands, maybe even tens of thousands of people. If this were realistic in any way, it would be much more successful in a remote area.

they have antimemetic devices, similar to that one scp that nukes any info about it aside from its classification and the information shredder in LoM

it's probably also the actual mechanism behind the memory shenanigans. their antimemetic device actually handles the broad erasure, and the pill is just a protective 'cover' if i had to guess. Not that the manga explains it this way but it's a more logical explanation.
