@AmberLoss That grey moustache guy was there when Koshar was talking to Rovetshu, he went to some guy who sent the messeage to the Emperor.

This is kinda interesting though, I thought the reveal would happen after the divorce.

Since the number of mages is the key to the Empire, I'm going to assume this is a Fisher King scenario, to whit: If the Emperor is unfit (to carry the lineage of Empire), the Empire withers and dies.

Good. I want some Western Templars at the gates ready to carry off some pillars in the next couple of days.

Call me crazy but after the bulk of the chapters before setting Rashta up as an absolute dipstick, in the last few chapters I can't help feel sorry for Rashta but more importantly her son.

What started out as Rashta's greed and selfishness has morphed into everyone taking advantage of Rashta who is now stuck between a bunch of deep crap between many different noble factions.
Not saying she doesn't deserve a lot of it (she has dug herself a big ditch to begin with) but she's been a slave so she wouldn't be well educated and would've been taken advantage of in the past so yeah.

And her son is just a baby brought into this world and is absolutely f*&$ed, he would be a character that is either a main villain or protagonist or ML in another story due to his tragic beginning

Again, a runaway female slave is the villain.
A woman without power is trying to survive the best way she can while being manipulated and exploited by three men.
The Emperor
The Baron
The Duke who is telling her to work to be the new empress.

But yeah, let's keep Thrastha-ing.

honestly, I feel bad for rashta but more for her babies. She dug herself a deep grave here and I hope she doesn't drag her babies down with her. Tbh, if this were told from her perspective, we probably would've been rooting for her. But then again, I don't like her. But I still feel bad for how she's being used for her stupidity, naivety and her weakness. And at least she loves her babies.

The one that I just absolutely hate in this manhwa is the emperor.(I can't even be bothered to remember his name's spelling) He's a useless husband whose only purpose in life is to follow his desires, not even considering the people around him and the consequences it can bring.

again if this was a different story Trashta might even be the hero...but she aint...she was duplicitious from the start...and she never approached Navier with anything resembling her station as a concubine calling her "sister" from the start...i agree she's a victim but also she is not nice...but yes the emperor and and the count and his son are more to blame here than her

seriously other than the guy from Rift who drank the love potion theres been no decent male lead charecter in this story...which is why i like it...theres no prince charming coming to save our two ladies
