Remember what was the last chapter read when a group removes their chapters

Sometimes some manga that I've been reading having their chapters withdrawn from MD. Some time later another sub takes over the series and start releasing here but then I'm totally lost on which was the last chapter I read since the read chapters mark is lost.

So I'd like to ask for some kind of mark to be added on the manga title page saying how many chapters I've read before some group decided to withdrawn their chapters.

The "Reading progress" box is only useful when you're coming from some other site and does not help at all with this problem.

An alternative for this situation I see myself into would be to add a automatically update option on that reading progress box so that it would automatically update after every chapter.

I do understand that the little eye next to a chapter link is important but it only works if the chapter is still available. After it's been taken down, it doesn't help anymore.

The reading progress box does update automatically under some circumstances. If the requirements have been met for this, it would be doing what you want.

Perhaps the loosening of those requirements is in order.
