I think seki just straight up copied the doodle (well, as good as he was able to) that kon did for pon, so she just had to remember doing that doodle (and the "tokugawa as tanuki" makes it rather recognizable)

I think she remembers that event happening in her life, and also knows that Kon is working with Seki, so she connects the dots that the reason that story is in the manga is because Kon told Seki about it.
