I actually really respect the willingness to kill off important characters. It reminds me of Attack on Titan in that regard.Bro everyone is dying can’t believe Mermaid died and we didn’t even get to see his last moments
...considering who the Author is it's best to assume no one's safe. And yes, I include the MC's.I actually really respect the willingness to kill off important characters. It reminds me of Attack on Titan in that regard.
This isn't a case of introducing some meaningless character no one cares about to then kill him, but taking the time to introduce them well in advance, tell their story, and then kill them.
Tomiyaki has never written a story where any of the actual central characters die before the end though....considering who the Author is it's best to assume no one's safe. And yes, I include the MC's.
Yep "before the end". But as a certain Story showed that doesn't mean they survive the end.Tomiyaki has never written a story where any of the actual central characters die before the end though.

I mean Happy Sugar Life by the way.
Hmm, it seems there's been a Misunderstanding here. With my original Sentence I meant over the whole of the remaining story, including the finale. Not in the next few chapters. Maybe I could have phrased it better. I don't disagree with what you say here after all.But this isn't the end.
Killing off central characters at the end of the story isn't that unusual. Killing off rather important side characters during the story is a bold move, but sometimes done. Killing off actually central characters in the middle of the story is a very bold move that's rarely done.
