My eyes were relieved to see the blue pages end
Pathetic characters to be honest. Mangaka girl with no self-confidence, but has been doing it for who knows how many years, and editor girl who just got the position acting as if she knows everything. The dynamics of the duo are messed up with the editor bossing around the mangaka, based on their professional experience alone (without considering personalities).
A bag of snacks and an meek apology when the subject is supposedly asleep is not nearly enough to redeem the mannerisms and behaviors of the editor girl, who has judged the mangaka by her appearance from their very first meeting. Take it to another manga and make this a side character and this mindset would be hated by the viewers.
I am not saying the mangaka's procrastination was totally forgivable, but it could have been handled differently. With more respect and discipline, I guess is what I am trying to say.
