I think there's a hierarchy of tropes that demands the "wingwoman" to win and that takes priority over the childhood friend losing

Seeing how those last pages suggest something unusual.... it wouldnt suprise me if the brother and sister like each other.

And also that, looks very creepy.

Anyway, it's the first time I see so many overused tropes: an unnecessary overly wimpy MC, the airhead losing heroine childhood friend mistaken for a boy, the cold school madonna with a secret, the school pretty boy used as a "threat" for jealousy.
Even the possible routes are nothing new: either they really help each other or end up together, we already saw it somewhere else.

Oh well, still goimg to read this and see where it goes.
