Hold up, why is Shinji surprised that hot pot is served at a Chinese restaurant? They invented the stuff??

They use the word 鍋 (nabe) which refers to the Japanese-style of hot pot, and even the Chinese version 火鍋 (hinabe) isn't commonly served in Chinese restaurants in Japan as far as i can tell

I thought the same thing. It seems neither Renge nor Naruto has a family they can spend time with. That panel felt like we were seeing the pain under Renge's happy Gyaru exterior.

My family's been going to a Vietnamese place in our city since it opened about 16 years ago. We're regulars and they know us all by name, and ask about how things are going with us when we come in to get orders. They usually give us a discount and freebies, and we tip well in exchange.

Agreed. I know Nicolai does hentai but this manga is pretty wholesome and has far less fan service than a lot of other works that are tagged as "suggestive". I hate to think this isn't getting the views it could because it's getting wrongly caught in someone's filter.
