I don't mind a bit of drama, but when it is like this and exploring the hard lives of people who just can't catch a break, then it stops being enjoyable escapism. Personally, I am not here to see the downtrodden keep taking a beating. I just find it cruel. Life is hard enough, and this just feels sadistic from the author. I'll stick with it for now, but there better be a solution quite soon.
