lol it doesn't look too weird to me even if the art style is different maybe they had an assistant do it, I'm just more surprised at her calling them that when they're just average versus them actually being creeps

I'm surprised she didn't just stand around making Sumire do it all bc there was a set price as opposed to getting paid depending on how much she ended up passing out

Lol surprised she even planned to do something on her own versus insisting Sumire call cmxx again tho she subtly suggested something earlier (but i dunno if sumire would've preemptively taken some measures to where it'd make it harder for her to find rental gf jobs that was high paying and didn't have creeps/expectations of hookups) versus reaching out to the tabloids with the highest offer and trying to make herself sound good-like the victim but even if she was other than an abuse case like that

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burikko I imagine it's part of her trying to be 'cutesy' (altho wouldn't be a need to still talk about herself in third person to another woman but maybe it's just a habit. it might be cutesy 'anime' but for a josei series and someone in their 30s already it does feel a bit weird but i imagine more ppl let it slide in JP compared to how weird it'd be if someone in the west were to talk in third person [tho be hilarious if it was a meta way of distancing herself from stuff like "Karin's not at fault y'know" and all that lol])
