Well she's never had real friends besides her mean girls clique but even then idk if those ppl rly liked her all that much bc we don't see her ever call up/hang out with anyone else before

And sumire has manipulated stuff where she was able to make money even if she immediately spent it on clothes/cosmetics and nights out

Just notice that Karin wasn’t shown once with friend since she steal Ito marriage.

Maybe all of em got annoyed cause I am when reading all of Karin self boasting dialogues this chapter.

She might have been busy 'marriage hunting' while as a secretary and prolly too mean girl/passive aggressive to hang out with coworkers outside of work/drinking parties/mixers but wouldn't be surprised if also "They're basic bitches that ended up settling down with average salarymen" or so /can't imagine karin footing the bill unless it was for a handsome man so i can imagine depending on the places she went out to on her free time before sumire her other 'friends' prolly also couldn't keep up

(altho it might be convoluted but i can imagine there being other 'revenge' series where it's like "actually i hated her all along, yeah i'll help you take her down" if not also being guilt tripped int oit lol)
