Tbf, the point of tourism is to appeal to ppl who aren't from/haven't been in that area yet altho I guess even if ur born in one country doesn't mean you've visited all over, I'm sure there were Americans pre covid whose traveling goals was to visit all fifty states even tho capitalism aside I'm sure some places don't always have anything unique to them like land marks versus going to some local restaurant chains
