Resident Evil Requiem impressions after playing?

Anyone play Requiem yet. I'm still in the Care Center as Grace. Would really really love to binge the game but I can't, so I've just been playing a little here and a little there. It's been fun so far, but the graphics are a little disappointing. Yeah, they're really good, but I wouldn't say they're any better than the Resident Evil 4 remake. I was kinda hoping for the next mainline game to look even better.

I'm playing on PS5 Pro.

Yeah, I'm a sucker. I ended up getting it on Black Friday.

It's pretty damn good.

Only thing I will slightly criticize is that Capcom kind of did the same thing they did with MH Wild's monster herding mechanic, but this time with the zombie "remembering their life's schedules" mechanic.

As in, these unique mechanics where just there to spice up the trailers and marketing, and only really appear early in the game, and are then almost never to be seen again.

It's not a big deal breaker for me though, the game is still great regardless.

Did a small experiment. It takes three head shots to seemingly kill a regular zombie. I think.

There was one that went down after like 5 bullets, then got back up a little later.

Pretty sure they're dead once the puddle of blood appears.

I have played it and I think it’s really good. Although I got jumpscared way too many times while playing it. Some of the moments caught me completely off guard. I still had a lot of fun with it though, and the atmosphere was really well done. I get what you mean about the graphics too they look good, but I was kind of expecting a bit more from a new mainline game. Overall it’s still a great experience.
