Because rich people and poor people didn't exist 200 years ago or 500 years ago or 1000 years ago, amirite? Everyone was equal until the horrible capitalism was invented? C'mon son. If it's not money it'll be skin color, if it's not skin color it'll be height, if it's not height it'll be size of dick or boobs. There will ALWAYS be something.
Even on animal societies without the horrible horrible technology or rich people and poor people there's discrimination. If it's not domination through wealth then it'll be domination through physical power and if not by that then it'll be any other whatever arbitrary thing.

@Midoriha Nah capitalism isn't relevant to my point, I do think capitalism is great and enables meritocracy however.

My point is that If people are united behind a culture that focuses on liberty and rationalism, those that push such identitarian ideals are just laughed at.
The UK (as in the isles not the empire as a whole) used represent this well.

@MrMeh I think you are missing the point here... Every human is different and just by that one trait, competition isn't something that can't be removed or solved. Same goes for evil, good and evil goes hand in hand, there can't be no good if there is no evil and vice versa. Perfection doesn't exist bruh.
