Actually the literal translation is a derivative of the word butter in many slavic languages. However, you are correct that it is no solstice, it is about a month earlier than the March equinox.

@Kathartes I apologize in the grammar and punctuation errors I am a Spanish speaker and self learned English and unfortunately I am very deficient in that department shame on me but I'm trying to learn as I go, is most difficult as I cant quite grasp exactly where the errors are and I'm sorry for the in congruence . btw is there somewhere I could learn on this matter mostly about punctuation rules?
