I'm only a fan of classic SEGA. I consider their merger with SAMMY to be less like a rebirth and more like puppeteering a dead corpse. SAMMY is a slot machine company, in other words gambling. I find gambling disgusting.
And I think SEGA wouldn't have had to close it's console hardware division and then merge with SAMMY if it weren't for Sega of America insisting on the Genesis by releasing the Sega CD and then the 32x. Even at the time of the Dreamcast SEGA was still bleeding from the failures of those Genesis' add-ons. Then there was also the terrible marketing campaign of the Saturn in America...

This manga outright pisses me off. No sega fan would say that pachicnko machine masquerading as dreamcast is sega continuation, even saying something like xbox is sega console is less annoying

Sega releases expensive add-ons to try and prolong the life of a successful console that was dying, nobody wants them, and those that did buy them have no games to play.

Follows it up with garbage that nobody wants to develop on because it's a pain in the ass and only 4 people own the Saturn, 4 people who did buy it have no games to play.

Dreamcast fails to fix the pain in the ass to develop on issue, can't play DVDs and they launched right before the fucking PS2, people avoid buying out of worry that there will be no games to play.

Cope harder SEGA fans (me included)
