Those vertical lines are usually called "jailbars", pretty big issue with old RF-based consoles due to bad caps.
Famicoms are also basically worthless, a few years ago I picked one up complete in box for ¥2000, they just made so many of the damn things (like 60m+ iirc) that anyone who wants one has them.
The same holds true for fc games, I got a sealed copy of Tetris Flash (Tetris 2) for I think 350y. I also own a copy (two copies) of 89 電脳九星占い (see first chapter) because less desirable FC games end up on the ¥300 shelf and loose carts can be had for ¥100 or less.
