If he's really dead (which I don't think so) it's actually pretty stupid, considering the tens of chapters of Cain sending trouble to Abel's way just to end in 4-5 bouts

We better get some Lilith dicking action and actually show us the panels after going through all this expoaitional crap just to experience a lame ending to a lame villain in a lame fight.

It is good they didn't dwell too much on it but kinda disapointing (?).
I don't think Abel is evil, just broken.
Also you know what they say about high level necromancers: if it was easy to kill a high level necromancer, they are not dead.

Pathetic ending for a pathetic villain. That is unless this is just the first part of the fight, which of course it's going to be. Sigh.
I wouldn't necessarily call him a pathetic villain. Sure, his reasons were certainly pathetic, but his planning and execution (aside from what he's shown in this fight) certainly aren't.
I mean, he very easily took control of almost every major country in the world without anyone being the wiser.

But as you say, sadly, I doubt this is the last of it. Wish it was, though, I hate villains where their entire premise is some twisted reverence for the MC.

Does someone have to be "evil" to be worth putting down?
If they attack you and other innocents with lethal force simply due to their own desires, isn't that "evil" enough?

IMO there is not a need for a reason to kill anyone at any point. It is just something one does and try to justify later.
Depends on what you think of as "evil" I guess. "Evil" could be the person or the action, someone like Abel is killing others with no malice involved so he wouldn't be "evil" by the definition of "someone evil" but the action could be seen as evil for many reasons and could be seen as not evil by many other points.
