Normally I'd also be totally mad about suddenly discarding plot hooks, throwing new characters in, changing alliances and all crammed into one chapter, but somehow I ain't. Strange I know. Normally I would hate this chapter to bits.
Maybe the drama about nobody knowing his secret identity went on my nerves for far too long and I'm accually glad he simply dropped that shit, at least infront of his closer aids. In my opinion that move was kinda awesome and fit MC personality. They are in danger, so he dropped the bomb with living evidence infront of them in form of a demon, who just confirmed his clam. Best moment to do it. That shitty drama gets dropped, which can only improve the quality of the story. Smooth move author-san.
About the new characters, that are suddenly introduced: It have been three new ones and we don't know for how long they will be around. (Four if we count that demon from a few chapters ago). My guess is robot maid will stay around, robot dude will have to go, old numberdude will become a BG-character.
Now, that "Yesterdays enemies are todays allies"-trope...that one I don't like. That really smells like asspull (Especally that megane-psycho is to my disliking. If that's the intention author, good job.) Though most of them could be canon fodder anyway, as MC already remarked about them. (Of course stealth-lady will stay around.)
That plot twist about the plot twist of former friends becoming twisted (alot of twists) and then again stabbed, that also would add up to "The author is running out of ideas", but it somehow doesn't fell like that..... That "the lady doctor from 200 years ago acctually being stabbed" and "her obviously becoming mad and changing sides in the last 200 years being not the whole truth" plots, it seems like a bigger picture the auther had in mind for a longer time, instead of something he just came up with. I do have high hopes for that plot idea and am intrigued.
Overall eventhough there have been many damnation-worthy elements in this chapter, overall ... my God... Overall I liked it. I know. Wierd.
