All that drama over his identity and he tosses it out casually mid-battle like it's nothing. Awesome.

And then we get a tokusatsu hero and robo-maid from out of nowhere. And maybe the reveal that the person the MC thought was his friend/party member but had somehow become evil in the last 200 years is actually dead? The hell?

I think it's official that we've hit the point where the Author really shows they have no idea what they're doing and are just throwing out random ideas to desperately keep things running for as long as this is serialized.

I said this a couple of chapters ago, but this thing has 2 chapters left to do something, anything to hook me or I'm chucking it in the bin. This series is nothing but the biggest paint-by-numbers chuuni power fantasy which would be fine if it wasn't also aggressively boring and nonchalant about everything it does. If the author doesn't feel like they care about the story then why should I?

Big same. Was drawn in for the lewds and tiddy, and that mysteriously disappeared in a bait and switch. Thought alright, I'll stick around for the chuuni power hour, and that went to shit as well. And now this? I'm actually in awe at the sheer laziness of it and the hubris of thinking the reader should just roll with it. Casually revealing the entire plot point? Everything up until this point has been about his identity being a secret. Literally everything.

"By the way, I'm voldemort."
Are you fucking kidding me dude?

Normally I'd also be totally mad about suddenly discarding plot hooks, throwing new characters in, changing alliances and all crammed into one chapter, but somehow I ain't. Strange I know. Normally I would hate this chapter to bits.

Maybe the drama about nobody knowing his secret identity went on my nerves for far too long and I'm accually glad he simply dropped that shit, at least infront of his closer aids. In my opinion that move was kinda awesome and fit MC personality. They are in danger, so he dropped the bomb with living evidence infront of them in form of a demon, who just confirmed his clam. Best moment to do it. That shitty drama gets dropped, which can only improve the quality of the story. Smooth move author-san.

About the new characters, that are suddenly introduced: It have been three new ones and we don't know for how long they will be around. (Four if we count that demon from a few chapters ago). My guess is robot maid will stay around, robot dude will have to go, old numberdude will become a BG-character.

Now, that "Yesterdays enemies are todays allies"-trope...that one I don't like. That really smells like asspull (Especally that megane-psycho is to my disliking. If that's the intention author, good job.) Though most of them could be canon fodder anyway, as MC already remarked about them. (Of course stealth-lady will stay around.)

That plot twist about the plot twist of former friends becoming twisted (alot of twists) and then again stabbed, that also would add up to "The author is running out of ideas", but it somehow doesn't fell like that..... That "the lady doctor from 200 years ago acctually being stabbed" and "her obviously becoming mad and changing sides in the last 200 years being not the whole truth" plots, it seems like a bigger picture the auther had in mind for a longer time, instead of something he just came up with. I do have high hopes for that plot idea and am intrigued.

Overall eventhough there have been many damnation-worthy elements in this chapter, overall ... my God... Overall I liked it. I know. Wierd.

With all the sudden twists and expositions it feels like this manga is close to ending.

I'd say let them fight it and die, it's a good reality check for the association.

Abel needs to defeat the demon nonetheless, so he should exploit those random folks as much as he can as distractions, looking for the best opportunities to deal damage to the demon. If he just allows them to fight and get beaten, afterwards it's again 1 vs 1 against the demon, which is not optimal for Abel.
