So far it seems to be really similar to Shikkaku Mon no Saikyou Kenja. With the motivation of the MCs being different.

I'd have to give it a few more chapters to make a decision, this isn't that great of a pilot though.

One of the things I enjoy seeing is the effects of time :O Some reincarnation-type manga sometimes omit technological advancements despite the prevalence of (and sometimes over-reliance on) magic

Simple stuff like contact lenses and a scarf are somewhat of a welcome sight. I wonder if we're gonna see cars lol

Looks very promising. Honestly, I really enjoy the modern variations on the classical fantasy manga themes, with influences by the isekai genre but without actually giving into the mainstream and doing an isekai work proper. This has great potential. Would have liked a longer pilot chapter though, hopefully we'll get more in swift order :)

Ugh... I wish he didn't have a child body. For once I hope there is a time skip. Love it though. Cant wait for more.

if you compare with the history of our world you will see that 200 years is nothing
worse the number of times the same thing was invented because knowledge was lost
all peoples do not evolve at the same speed and sometimes a less developed people take the place of a more evolved people
In a world where magic exists, I doubt that science is changing rapidly

Guessing the amber eyes are regarded as dog shit, just like the MC's power type in Shikkaku Mon no Saikyou Kenja, like altereggo said.

@Gauvain You're not wrong! Maybe I worded it weirdly, but what I meant is that most authors take the medieval setting and play it straight - so seeing stuff like contacts and scarves is somewhat refreshing, it feels different, you know? Touching on technological advancements is an interesting take on time-lapse stories, especially going from a feudal society to one that is (presumably, I haven't read the novel) more modern
