Honestly I feel like it would have been better if he was able to handle it on his own without the MC's help..... Everyone in the entire world seems to be useless without the MC....
That said... Why spare such a dangerous man who could harm so many innocent people????

I mean I think it's best that he lost fighting himself like he's poisoned still recovering and has one arm while the other guy has some weird powerup it wouldn't make sense that he would somehow to able to win again this guy now that he's at a much weaker state.
I do have to agree with the sparing though... like wtf so all the people who want to rebel against the bastard is basically dead but the only person you spare is the fucking evil guy who is in control of the entire orthadox sect like wtf!?
