I do hope they make the father do something scummy. We didn't even really get any memories of him screwing over the MC, and both are as violent and relentless as each other, so it hardly seems like the father is 'that bad' comparably to the MC or as the setting dictates.
Right now it feels like the father is becoming a proud and doting father, meanwhile the son is doing everything while conspiring to murder him, and it would feel unsatisfying should the son succeed at this point.
Also that hot eleven barbarian is totally going to be another love interest, isn't she?
